1. How do I remove my phone number from the Gaiyo App?
- Open the Gaiyo App.
- Tap on the three lines (menu) in the top right corner.
- Tap on your email address to open your account.
- Tap on your phone number.
- At the bottom, you will see the option “Remove phone number” → confirm.
2. How do I add (or re-add) my phone number?
You can only add a phone number if it is necessary for using a service, for example when booking a bike or car.
- Start the booking (bike or car) in the Gaiyo App.
- In the checklist, you will see that a phone number is still missing.
- Tap “Verify mobile number” at the bottom.
- Follow the steps in the app (you will receive an SMS code) to confirm your number.
3. Why do I need to add a phone number?
- To verify your identity for certain bookings (e.g., shared cars or shared bikes).
- So that you can be reached in case of malfunctions, reservation problems, or emergencies.
In short: you can delete your phone number yourself via your account settings, and add/verify it again when booking a service (bike or car) via the checklist in the Gaiyo App.
